i get so sick of hippies ripping on television. "television inspires consumption, i don't watch tv, i'm so awesome." television only inspires consumption for the weak minded. are you telling me that if you watched tv you would be forced, by commercials, to buy shit you don't need? isn't that a problem with YOU?
i just watched the half of the first season of californication with david duchovny. and it was fucking awesome. the characters are well developed. the plot is interesting. i'm completely obsessed and i don't feel dumberer! it's miraculous!
i mean, i read. television is like novel through IV. no work, all play and sometimes that's what i need. and why do hippies always have to TELL you that they don't watch tv?? i don't tell everyone that i DO watch television. i don't wear a teeshirt that says "i watch teevee." maybe i should make one.
